Rednightjoe 1 Posted April 6, 2013 So...my character has found his first gun - first gun I've found in dayz :D I've searched the forums and haven't found anything, but my question is - is there some sort of guide or chart that shows which guns can shoot which ammo?I ask because I've found a double-barreled shotgun - I also ran across some 1887 (think that's right) shotgun slugs...when I run out of the regular slugs for my shotgun (2 shots), will it accept the 12 gauge slugs as well?I think some guns accept various ammo - but a chart of some sort showing all of these that I could print out would be amazing... herrjon 478 Posted April 6, 2013 If you select the ammo in your gear, it'll say more or less which guns can use it, but after awhile you'll get the hang of it. It is worth noting to that certain ammo can be converted into others. For instance, M1911 mags can be converted into .45 ACP revolver mags, and visa versa. Certain guns can take mulitple types as well, for instance your double barrel can take 2rd. Slugs and 2rd.
