Dedzal 2 Posted April 6, 2013 Since I upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit ArmA 2/OA has a black line on the right side of the screen. I can't find a frickin' solution anywhere: I updated my graphics card drivers, set the resolution in the config file and even reinstalled the game, but the line is still there. My native resolution is 1440x900. (I set both Interface resolution and 3D resolution to the same and the same result). Please help me, I didn't play the game for weeks!! diddums 3760 Posted April 6, 2013 a black line on the right side of the screen.one question where is the line?Seriously?OP, how wide is the line? It sounds to me like it could be the monitor that needs adjusting. Not sure how old it is, but if it's fairly recent it'll have an auto-adjust feature. Hit that. If not, do it manually and see if it helps.

badluckburt 974 Posted April 6, 2013 Could you maybe take a screenshot? That might help figuring out what's going on. 2 inches is pretty big. Also, did you select the correct aspect ratio in Arma settings? Should be 16:10, you probably know that but thought I'd state it anyway.
Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted April 6, 2013 I was going to suggest adjusting your monitor too but 2 inches sounds like a lot.

badluckburt 974 Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) Hmm, the only other thing I can think of at the moment without a screenshot is overscan / underscan which is usually fixed by auto adjusting. What kind of monitor do you use? I have an Asus TV-monitor myself and it has some weird settings like panorama and zoom so if yours has that kind of capability you could check that out. When you run plain Arma, do you have the same problem? Also, check to see if you can see the entire UI on screen in Arma because it might be that it's off-centre somehow. I don't know what would cause that though.-editI did some googling, could you check that both your Interface and Render resolution are set to 1440x900?You could also try searching or asking on the BIS forums if we don't get it sorted out. Mos1ey 6301 Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) Have you tried changing your refresh rate?I had this problem with my old monitor, ARMA 2 had a black border when I played at 60hz and ran properly at 50hz. Might be worth a try. Edited April 6, 2013 by mZLY
