Me and my friend are playing dayz from the same modem, we wanted to team up and stuff right?

Whenever we join the same server it says "You were kicked off the game" for one of us. Can I fix this somehow?

Its a steam problem, got the same issue while playing Portal with my gf.

it seems my dementia has stashed this information somewhere safe but its not a rare problem.. try google it.or try to launch dayz with steam offline.
