Dayzo 182 Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) I went to play DayZ today and all I could find were private hives that played a shit house excuse for it.Sounds to me like you have nothing against private hives per se, but want to play vanilla DayZ instead of heavily modified.The WIREWORLD UK server in my signature is almost vanilla, and there is a good balance of play styles - DayZ as it was meant to be played.The only changes are:· AS50 and m107 removed.· 42 vehicles (default is 35).· Tents last 999 days after death (default is 3), so your camps are permanent.· Night vision chance has been increased at heli-crash sites.· Full moon is currently on every night to encourage night-time play.In addition:· JSRS soundmod v1.4 allowed.· Teamspeak is strongly encouraged. I found one that gave you a .45 and NVGs. All the old servers I used to play on have shut down. I found one server based in the UK with a ping of about 400. Anyway, I finally found a server and some Mountain Dew and an Enfield. I met some guy who started shooting at me with a M1911 in the chest. I hasten to add this was useless as the hero bullet proof vest protected me. They died and I got away unscathed, only to be killed by a frag to the face about 3 minutes later. Then when I tried to get revenge, I suffered an extreme lag spike and ended up getting shot and killed. Oh well, I guess somethings never change . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Vehicles - Custom Bases - NPC's - no PvP' etc I had a magnificent play a couple of weeks ago but that ended with the hero teleporting glitch when I try to log in after going to the shops. Entirely vanilla.Honestly, I'm getting tired of all these threads that ultimately end up in "Hurry up with Standalone!""HEY ROCKET!
