Thirst question

Simple question,

Can anyone tell me what happens, exactly, if you get thirsty?

Once the icon starts flashing how long before something starts to happen?

Do you lose blood or pass out or something else?

I think when it gets low and starts flashing, you begin to lose blood.

I'm not sure how long it takes to do something after it starts flashing - but last night it was somewhere between 2-3 mins I think, then you start to lose blood...at a rate of about 10 every 5 seconds or so, as I discovered last night.

If you have a good supply of food (cooked meat) on you, then you can just keep topping up when you've lost 800 and carry on until you find a drink (or run out of food).
