It would act as a wall to zombies (so they would just try to run around it and bite ya) and perhaps it would have a durability or it couldent stop sniper shots something like that. It would take the Primary wepon slot and you would not be allowed to run while it is equipted or you overall speed is halfed. You could see throu it or perhaps have a bit of cut off vision and you could use 2ndary wepons with it out but you would be extremly inacurate or would have to expose yourself a bit to aim(bad for PVP). it would take up 4 slots in your inventory. Mabi have a bash kinda like the l4d2 push it would nock zombies and people over (mele range obviously) mabi it would have to be an animation so you couldent just run up to people and bash em like crazy you would have to do a fast start animation and a slow end animation (not as long as the get up from a fall animation). Perhast it could also be like slammed into the ground or foced between doorways and act as 1/3 of a wire fence and it could block small area's but zombies could attack it and lower its durability and then brake. But it would cover your back and give you time to reload or loot a house and not have to worry(zombies attacking the riot shield would make loud bash sound and attrackt other zombies and players) also when the riot sheald is in the groud other players could simply pick it up or knock it over if they wanted (so a kick animation?). Now about riot gear it would be like face mask and heavy duty body armor (heavy padding ,amo slots in uniform to hold 1slot things, and ig uess zombies and low caliber guns would do less dmg to someone in the gear. Uhm the only draw back it would be dramaticly louder walking and other things. Cheekorobbins 1 Posted June 27, 2012 Yeah, was just thinking this, riot shields would be awesome.You can't run whilst it's equipped though to stop people just running around the countryside with one on and would keep you vulnerable to Zeds, you could block a doorway with it though.
