hey guys what i would like in dayz would be a craftable stash kinda thing like you could dig a hole then put items that you need then go raid a building and if you died you could go to the stash and get your stuff and you could like make a marker in a tree to tell you where your hole is

In Oring, there are small wooden boxes. You only see them if you are close and if you could craft them out of wood and metal, they'd make great stashes.

I always wanted to be able to place backpacks under a tree and maybe cover them with a camo-net to further disguise them.

But the more options we get to temporarily hide stuff, the better. always looking for "the tent" is boring. if you had to watch out for different types of tents. storage-holes, crates, boxes, backpacks, etc. things would be a lot more exciting.

I reckon it would be a lot more useful because if you die some one just takes all your stuff

Like you could say I'm going to search that building but all I need is a gun and a couple of bandages you could leave the rest in stash piles or holes

if they want to make it ultimate survival wouldn't you want to hide your stuff from others

You die and your stash dies with you. Otherwise there is not much point to death.

why would it die couldnt it stay there for you to find and retrieve it or does the server delete your stuff if you die?

As it is now your stuff stays. My point is if you have died and are starting over you shouldn't have knowledge of your past lives, you don't know where the dead mans stash is. What is the solution? Maybe relocate the stash to a random different server? Another reason i favor the stash being deleted is to remove excess gear from the game to prevent over population. Will be interesting to see how the SA deals with this.
