Ok, Basically I was getting a white snow effect in-game on trees when using Arma2OAs AA, so I forced AA in AMD but this means I get a red line around the game, any ideas on what to do to get rid of it, its just annoying

I don't know what you can do about the red line, apparently they are caused by adaptive AA in Catalyst. I heard having your 3D resolution and interface resolution set differently removes it.

Alternatively you could try disabling Ambient Occlusion and SSAO via catalyst (if there is an option, I know you can in Nvidia's control panel) and then just have AA application managed instead of through Catalyst and see if that fixes the snow effect.

Someone posted these settings on the bis forums that removed the red lines for him, you'd probably have to see which ones fixed it though.

My settings now (no red lines) CCC: (may help someone)

Smoothvision HD: Anti-Aliasing = ‘Use application settings’

Smoothvision HD: Anisotropic Filtering = ‘Use application settings’

Tesselation = ‘Use application settings’

Catalyst A.I. = ‘Quality’ setting (middle slider) with Surface Format Optimization ‘Enabled’ (tick box)

Mipmap Detail Level = ‘Quality’ setting (second from right on slider)

Wait for vertical refresh = ‘Performance, Always Off’ (slider to left)

Anti-Aliasing Mode = ‘Adaptive Multi-sample AA (middle slider)

OpenGL Settings = Triple buffering ‘Enabled’ (tick box)

I had the same issues and I did what Smash said to do and it worked. You'll still get in in the area you are directly ontop of, but it's better than snow effect.
