tomig 0 Posted March 29, 2013 (edited) Well hello guys. I have the following PC:Athlon II X2 250 3.0GHz3GB RAM DDR2 Kingston 800MHzSapphire HD7770 1GB GDDR5 OCAnd I'm having extremely low performance. I know my pc is bad, but is it THAT bad that I get maximum 20fps and average 10-15? I went to Cherno and I was having 6FPS.My settings are all in the minimum (Very Low - AA disabled, etc) Is there a problem or is that performance normal for my pc?I'm using Arma II: Combined Operations on Steam, so is DayZ. colekern 1364 Posted March 29, 2013 Try running normal Arma 2. Tell me how that runs. To me, it sounds like the server.

Setting them on low can tax your CPU too much. Edited March 29, 2013 by colekern
TIC 1050 Posted March 29, 2013 (edited) Main Issue: Since DayZ is a mod and ARMA 2 is poorly optimized, many players like myself have encountered a problem where it consumes a lot of your CPU. It's been confirmed that the Standalone have resolved these issues. You'll see a major difference once released possibly in Mid-June :)TIPS:Try changing your resolution size to 'Windowed' and you can resize it. Sometimes a higher resolution requires more work on your GPU since there are more pixels to work with. (I don't even have an actual graphics card, just integrated and this works a lot better for me. Could help a lot for you)Along with those lines, try these startup parameters that can work in your ARMA 2: OP Arrowhead settings here.http://community.bis...rtup_ParametersRead carefully and use the ones that are the right ones for you :)I also think the most basic things you should know is changing your video settings in-game such as keeping your video memory on default.
