Bad Version, Server Rejected Connection (Help!)

Hey everyone. I know there are multiple posts about this but none helped me.

I recently Purchased Arma 2: Combined Operations via Steam. I downloaded them, and run them. I then installed "DayZ Commander" and downloaded the DayZ Mod.

I tried to connect to my Clans server, I entered the password, and once it loaded it said "Bad Version, Server Rejected Connection". I then matched the versions of the server to the ones I have.

"Server:

Arma

Installed: 102591

Server Min: 99113

Server: 100544

DayZ

Installed: 1.7.4.4

Server: "

"Me:

Arma 2: 102591

DayZ: 1.7.4.4"

To me, these look the same..

I am now unsure about what to do, I have reloaded, verified game files, restarted Steam, DayZ commander and My computer multiple times. Any ideas?

My Computer is Windows 7 64 bit, and DayZ is installed on an external 2TB hard drive (D:\)

I have connection issues as well. I just got the game yesterday (ARMA2/CA/DayZ) & connecting to a server has been a enormous frustration. I believe the version I have from Steam is 1.6.2 & I get rejected by most servers, & some of the ones I do get in I sit on the screen (Please wait for your character something or other) infinitely.

I believe I spent just as much time trying over & over to connect to a server as I actually had time to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you tried updating to the new dayz mod and see if you can connect to any of the servers running the lastest version as well

I just got the game yesterday from Steam. Wouldn't Steam have the latest version, or do you mean latest "beta" version?

i mean dayz version 1.7.4.4 isnt the latest version

I've no idea what the latest version is. I just downloaded 1.7.6.1 & I still can join any servers. Its pretty infuriating to be honest. Why are there so many versions?

because its an alpha try to join uk 45

Yeah, but my Clans server is running that version. Others can play it, just I keep getting that error. Also, it happens on every server

Ok. I'll ask them for that, and see if they can help! I'll update if this is resolved!

your not launching through the beta exe try copying the arma2oa.exe from the expansions/beta folder in your armaoa folder to you arma oa folder rename the one that in currenty in there to arma2oa2.exe

and try again

'arma oa folder rename the one that in currenty in there to arma2oa2.exe' I should rename the one in the original arma oa folder to arma2oa2.exe and the one in the expansion I leave it as arma2oa ?

in the bottom corner of the ss you provided it shows that your not using the beta version of the game how are you launching the game and what version beta are you using

I am launching the game through Dayz commander I have ARma 2 and Arma 2 OA on steam if you could add me on skype and help me via skype that would be great could you please do that?
