Hey, I played Day Z when it first became popular, then due to hackers took a long break. It was a very fun experience, can someone tell me how the hacker situation is?

Also I heard from a friend that they redesigned something about connecting to Day Z, anyone know what this means?

If you join a whitelisted private hive with good admins, there are no hackers at all.

As for the way you join, it was re-built to have much, much faster load times.

No private hive is 100% hacker free. However some only have hackers once in a blue moon.
