Skins arent working

I download the skins named them face then i put them in the Arma 2 other profiles <my dayz name> but when i join a server and it says "too big custom file" and the skins are from imgur and ive seen others use those skins. So yeah.

You have to find a server that allows custom faces on it. Most dont as they can cause issues

You can always use the in-game faces that are somewhat custom (as in not in the drop down menu) which are already in the game

Server admins can set the MaxCustomFileSize limit in their config file, by default it is set to 0 bytes so unless an admin has increased that you will not be able to join.

Allowing them can cause a lot of lag on the server as it requires each client to download the file each time someone connects using one.

Others probably aren't aware of the setting or simply don't want players running around looking like clowns on their servers.

It's not that it's not working, it's that no one wants them. ArmA 2 is already buggy enough, and people don't want to be killed because of your face-lag.
