Heli crash sites in the glorious Chernarus

Where do they mostly reside and how do find them most effectively? I'm playing on a prive hive, they do have custom ones but are the official ones also there?

These are the possible spawnpoints on original servers.

Most private hives use these as well, but they can be altered.

Be aware that the spawn rate is not 100%

After some restarts (at which they respawn) you might just find one or two.

At other restarts you might find nine or ten.

i tend to see a fair few up by the SUV/Motorbike Spawn in Novy Lug, (West of the NE Airfield.) Its basically just a big flat field, so if there are crashes there you will spot them easy.

Want help finding them? Get a Helicopter. Not only do you see further, allowing easy spotting of Helicopter Crashes, but you can also use it to find other possible high-value target's such as Camps ect. due to Grass & Leaves degrading at distance. You can often times see the Tent's from 100 metres~ altitude even if they're heavily camouflaged from the ground by trees; a quick fly around the Map Borders will yield anything from a starter camp to a Clans set-up with upwards of 10 Tents.
