White Listing

I have a relatively new server and was thinking of switching it to a white listed server. Whats the general feeling on white listing? Is it more or less likely to encourage population growth?

The way Whitelisting works, is that you have a list where you'll be writing each individual GUID that is allowed to play on your server.

If it's no on the list, it's not getting on the server.

Generally speaking, it will greatly hamper your server's population, UNLESS you have a bunch of regular players, a community, or a website.

I only play whitelisted.My gaming experience has improved vastly. You'll get more "regulars", and a better community.

We often still kill each other so the PVP aspect isn't necessarily hampered.

I will be using a web sight and SLQ data base for the sign up. so its a bit more automated.
