How can one select what GUID to use?

I have ArmA II from the CD, since installing DayZ I had issues with the normal vanilla ArmA. A mate suggested that I get the game through Steam, which fixed the issue. I now have two GUID's and DayZ Commander is using the "new one". I want to revert back to the old one.

Help would be appreciated.

You'd have to change your active CD-key(which is done by editing your registry), but that wouldn't work as far as I know, since the other key you have from the physical CD isn't compatible with Steam because of the fact that you've already activated it. (Edit; You can only add new keys onto Steam if they're unused. If you buy a physical copy, the CD-key works as long as you don't install it, assuming the installation doesn't automatically ask you to log onto Steam, like Counter-Strike used to do back in the day.)

Edit; Changing the CD-key regardless would probably result in an "invalid CD-key" error or "CD-key disabled."
