Random diseases going around like drinking soda cans has a 1/2 chance of giving you a disease meat eating meet has a 25% chance of getting you sick, etc. Cause I get sick from drinking water from a drink bottle if it has been unrefrigerated. you could catch a disease of a guy you killed if it is contagious. I can't really give a full explanation but here is something.

It's already in both. You can get an infection from eating uncooked food or water that hasn't been boiled, or randomly from being attacked by a zombie, as well as when it gets cold (rain). As for getting an infection from a sealed container like can of soda...Thats not likely to happen.

I was pretty sure they had confirmed that disease will be part of the standalone and im pretty sure its in the mod.
