DAYZ not starting up

ok I got the game but every time I play it say I need dayz_anim require add on cmax or something what ever that is any help I bought the game on amazon,

I did not run non of them downloaded dayzcommand the mod and everything joined a server then I got that error Do I need to join armar 2 and the arrowhead addon?

please help

I think you are either have missing a file or have another map enabled. If you have a missing file make sure that everything is up to date in DayZ Commander and if it is, Re-install DayZ. If you have another map enabled just go into Arma 2:OA or the beta patch for it and remove any other maps that you are not playing on. If you issue persists let me know and I will try and help you fix it some more.

Have you downloaded Dayz Commander and went to the top right of the screen and clicked install/update and updated everything until the install/update button in white. If not that could be your issue. You pretty much need to make sure that you only have one map enabled and you have installed everything correctly and you should be good to go.

Its say install/update and its in yellow, also what do you mean by one map selected

And I did install dayz commander

Make sure that you install the latest update for both DayZ and Arma 2 in DayZ Commander and then the install/update button with turn white.

You update ARMA 2 at the top on the install/update window then it will come up with something else asking you to confirm if you want to install it, you click yes and then bam you are done and if your DayZ is updated you are good to play. As for the other maps, you dont need to install those unless you are planning to play on other maps right now.

If they are not installed you dont need to worry about them just focus on the DayZ and Arma 2

edit that nvm it does change white but i can still not use it

Maybe it could be something to do with something other than your DayZ but maybe your ARMA. Try looking around the forums and on Google for the error because I am not even sure if it is a DayZ error.

I have done all I can think of, try looking around the forums and Google to see if you can find a fix for that error.
