Dayz problem

Hey guys 2 days ago i got arma 2 combined operations to play dayz i installed six updater got dayz started it up but then when i went to Multiplayer is said u can't play/edited mission i freaked out after hours of starting it up downloading so i got sick and tired and pissed so plz can u help :( i need this to work and plz add me on Skype and i will share my screen to show you :( :( :( :( :( :(

Just try DayZ Commander instead of SIX, it's much better IMO.

and not on steam its on disc

Have you checked that it's pointing to the right location? It probably uses the Steam directory by default so you might have to change it.

have you updated arma2 to version 1.11

and arma2 oa to version 1.62 then the beta patches and dayz

i cant help you on skype if you cant answer the questions on here. the patches are big so start each game and in the bottom corner it tell you the version if arma 2 isnt at 1.11 and arma 2 oa isnt at 1.62 download the patches from here and try again if your still haveing problem then i will add you on skype and help you further

It's better to use the Server Browser through DayZ Commander. The multiplayer setup through the main ARMA menu isn't all that great for DayZ.

It's a lot more organized and categorizes everything you need to look for. Try that! :)

Other than that, check if you're updated with your ARMA/DayZ Version.

You said you installed from a disc. Have you installed the updates?

If you installed it from disk the path will be similer to this depending on what HDD you use

C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead

Make sure you have the 1.62 game update from here > http://www.arma2.com/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&Itemid=20&id=803%3Aarma-2-combined-operations--operation-arrowhead--reinforcements-patch-1〈=en

Also before you try to play Dayz you Must load up ArmA 2 and start 1 game, I think it's so ArmA automatically makes the profile config stuff but don't quote me on that.

Dayzcommander will download the beta-patch and Dayz files for you

You should try this, try to verify integrity of game cache, and after that it will solve any unknown errors, If this doesn't work you should re-install both ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA.

I also recommend you running DayZ mod through DayZ commander as it has been way more reliable than six launcher,

if its a problem with you not installing the patches.. that what it looks like a reinstall will not help because u are not installing the patches nor have you answered my questions that will let me link you directly to the files you require to update the game. launch both games to the menus and look in the bottom right hand corner for the version numbers and post them here

guys i done everything my just trade it back in i jsut want to play it's all steam and it wont work!! i worked my ass off make the right money and dayz doesn't work so why and now because i had it for so long and played it so many times i gona get it for 20 dollars so if u can't help just say so it not working :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

No I bought arms 2 combined operations lol for 30 dollars but. It not working so just say u can't help

Combined Operations if all you need :) It's Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead rolled in to 1

Where did it install on your PC ? a screen shot will do and i'll help you get things working :)

I'm still confused what you have, 1 post mentions you have the disk and another you say you downloaded it ?

If it's on disk you can just install it from disk but if you downloaded it you're going to need to use Steam to activate it.
