theneonirvana 5 Posted March 15, 2013 Scince there is alot of misleading information that are on the interactive maps all over the internet.I thought i would branch out and give confirmation but also questioning about any changes that have been made to chopper spawn locationsI can confirm as of 1.7.6.1-The Huey still spawns on starsky island, 1.7.6.1-The Huey also has spawned for me at ROG castle. 1.7.6.1- Mi-17 Spawns on the island as well second location on the east side of the island 1.7.6.1- Mi 17 Spawns at Devils Castle as well, however i cant confirm that in 1.7.6.1 only 1.7.5 and previous.- The Little Bird AH6X i have only see spawn at the NE airfield INSIDE the hanger 1.7.6.1All i do is chopper hunting so :)I have never found a chopper at Skalka, scince playing from 1.7.4I have never found a chopper at the NW airbase. Probably just my luck though....Can we please Consolidate our findings and come up with confirmation of wat choppers and where for 1.7.6.1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Welch (DayZ) 756 Posted March 15, 2013 The Huey's always spawned at Rog, as far as I've known.And sorry to be the one to tell you, but if you play on a Private Hive, the helis could spawn anywhere and everywhere, they don't have to be in a set position. Hetstaine 10852 Posted March 15, 2013 Flying a chopper out of the corner of a hangar..next to a broken chopper in the hangar at ne airfield is one of the best moments i have had in game. Seems to be one at Devils Castle on resets these days. but like Welch said..private hives are a lottery, last one i found was on the beach near Komarovo. monoking 22 Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) Theres a serious bug that doesn't allow them to spawn in Skalisty Island. I had to restart the server 3/4x times for it to spawn there. As i searched everywhere and i eventually looked on the server logs where it was. Was on public. You may try this.But if it's not your server. It might be usually taken.
