Papery textures in game

Hi,

I'm running an i5 2500k sandybridge, ati 6850 and 8gb of decent RAM. Should have no problems running this game but the grass and trees look like they're drawn onto a piece of paper and stuck into the game. The screenshot should illustrate what I mean. It's really bizarre.

I'm going to also say that I've spent the last 3 hours of my life troubleshooting this game and I still can't play it... Getting pretty frustrated at the constant errors and cock-ups. I know this is still in Alpha but no one else gets this problem, so it's obviously fixable.

I have a temporary fix...

If you change you 'preferred settings', the one that changes everything automatically... Change it to lowest it will go, then slide up your vision, you then change your resolutions back to what you want, and it should get rid of the papery shit. But you'll be playing in gash quality.

It's how I'm playing at the moment though. Disappointing but temporarily the only way to play the game.
