Scott Pilgrim 65 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) I'm not sure if this has been discussed already, I did a quick search and didn't find anything from it.So, I was thinking to have a wider variety of loot spawns in the DayZ Mod. These can range from:--- The destroyed cars can contain some small amounts of loot like food and drinks. Also, I don't think these cars should only be inside towns and cities, I think they should be varied along the road as if they ran outta gas and had to be abandoned half way on their trip. Oh and I don't think every vehicle has to be completely destroyed as if it's been hit by an RPG, it takes away the zombie apocalypse and "desperation" feel from it, if you get what I mean. And possibly even have one or two zed spawn on them to indicate their driver/passenger never made it and they turned.--- If there's a police car model somewhere, we can have small arms in it, or around it like some type of shotgun or pistol--- Loot inside garbage bins--- Medical Humvee could contain some medical supplies and maybe small arms, also maybe having one or two military zeds spawning near it--- Camps in the woods that look like this with canned food inside and around the camp, make it look messy as if there was an attack. Maybe also some random cooked meat on a grill or a stick over fire. One or two zeds roaming aroundPost any more loot spawn ideas you have 'em.The only problem I can see with this is the loot being hard to pick up, I think y'all know what I mean when I say it's tough to reach some things with the ArmA II engine. joe_mcentire 2074 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) i think they will take care of this. i also could think of "containers" like in the newer fallout series. tbh i have two threads that would fit to your thread. one is the idea of greater variety of useless an seemingly useless loot and one is about objects and areas to interact with so you "unlock" new areas/objects; simply new content to the gameredit: mZLY is right, check the latest dev-blogs: loot inside of vehicles, under beds etc..
