Within your ftp server or file manager, vilayercodecustom directory is now open for you to add your own code or mods to your dayz server. You get access to all of the custom mods to edit however please be very careful modifications of the server side code may break your service!

Running your own hive

You can follow some very simple steps to connect to your hive server and we are constantly making changes to the control panel to make sure information is displayed in an easy format for you to understand.

We understand that certain users may have issues understanding the new architecture so here is a step by step guide on getting started.

If you want your own MySQL database Server Follow these steps

REMOVE ALL MODS BEFORE INSTALLING THIS UPDATE

Step 1. Install this update v7

Step 2. Install MySQL Database Server ( This is only compatible with the private version of the mod )

Step 3. Install DayZServer Manager - Private Hive

Step 4. Install your map of choice

If you want to run on the standard Vilayer Public Hive follow these steps

REMOVE ALL MODS BEFORE INSTALLING THIS UPDATE

Step 1. Install this update v7

Step 2. Install DayZServer Manager - Vilayer Hive

Step 3. Install your map of choice

After you have done this you should find you are given all the credentials to both setups the Vilayer HIVE unfortunately due to security risks is still non customizable however the Private hive can be customized how ever you wish.

Nothing special man, You clearly have not seen the other hosts that are not dayz.st. 90% of that is already available at my host of choice hfb and the rest + more is coming any day now. Seems vilayer read the post hfb made and tried to beat them, well too bad im pretty sure they failed at it.
