My connection is pretty poor for downloading, now i want to ask you what i need to download for DayZ.Do i need "ArmA II" and "Operation Arrowhead" or is Operation Arrowhead only fine, too?Is there any reason to install "Private Military Company" and "British Armed Force" addon for DayZ? applejaxc 2500 Posted March 11, 2013 After they both download, copy everything from your addons folder in your ArmA 2 folder into addons for ArmA 2 OA. That'll essentially install ArmA 2 into OA, giving you Combined Operations.PMC and BAF will add themselves to ArmA 2 OA on their own.Get the latest beta patch and install it for OA. In your OA folder, there should be "Expansions, Beta"Take the arma2OA.exe out of beta and put it over/replace the ArmA2OA.exe in your ArmA 2 OA folder.Put everything from DayZ into your addons folder (ArmA 2 OA).Launch ArmA 2 OA.That SHOULD give you everything you need + PMC + BAF. :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Doing it this way will not give you HD graphics but its cheaper.He already bought Complete Collection, so there is not really anything cheaper for him.@OP: Arma II + Arma II OA + Arma II OA Beta should be installed automatically by steam. Use DayZ Commander to download the rest. Just click "install" next to the mod you like to play and it will do the rest.If I remember correctly, the British Pack will provide you with higher res ghillie and camo models, so you might want to install that too, just because you bought it anyways and using the lower resolution models doesn't make sense in that case. The map (Chernarus) is from ARMA 2 so you can get away with using ARMA 2: Free and ARMA 2: OA but you'll have crappy, low resolution textures.If you buy ARMA 2 you will have high resolution map textures and audio quality.If you buy the PMC DLC you will have high resolution survivor skins.If you buy the BAF DLC you will have the high resolution gillie suit and came clothing.Hope this helps. :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
