multiple MP profiles

I want to play alone sometimes but I also want to play with friends. Is there a possible way to make it so that I can have two different profiles for the game depending on what I want to do? Me and my friends all logged off at the same area so I don't wanna play and get far away from them.

I was wondering if there was a way to also start fresh on a new profile while at the same time switch to my other profile to play with friends.

Having multiple profiles like in some MMO's would be cool but I think the time it would take to implement something like that would be astronomical.

Pretty sure your BE GUID and Character ID are based off your CD Key.

Haven't tried installing two copies of ARMA yet though (standalone + Steam), both with different CD Keys. Should work, but confirmation would be nice.
