  1. The two main changes I'd like to see asap are as follows, and they are more Quality of Life fixes than anything else. - Status Indicators - Respawning mechanics for basic items. Guns etc. shouldn't respawn, but basic commodities like food should. There's two possible fixes for the respawning. - Actually make food/drink respawn - Massively increase the length of time between requiring food/drink. Oh, and finally: - Selectable fire modes. Vehicles, Tents, Base Building. All of that can wait whilst the core basic features get nailed down. Amazing work though Rocket, well impressed.
  2. Lots of issues with loading (hanging on loading screen, never loading in) and character location data not saving. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3600-157-keep-spawning-at-the-coast/

[1.5.7] Keep Spawning at the Coast

Same issue, ran to the NW airfield 3 times tonight. :/
  4. I thought I had that title. Guess I need to try harder. ><
  5. A lot of these should still have gear and ammunition at them, it's just missing the higher grade stuff that I destroyed. There's a few that I haven't recently checked, most of which are on US21. Still a great source of ammunition if needing. :)
  6. D'awww. <3 As a fellow longterm EVE player, we seem to have somewhat common goals, Dan. I've been a little busy myself over the last few weeks on CQF's servers. We've been playing a constant game of 'find the Ural' with CQF over the last few weeks. I ambushed them solo with fraps running and stole the Ural from under them (Fraps: ). I've destroyed their Ural 3 times in the last 2 weeks, and blew up the V3 the morning before last. Just swung back past one of the camps 10 minutes ago and AS50'd the Toyota Hilux.I'm rather patient when it comes to searching around, so I figured that I'd give you a hand with regards to some tent camp locations. This isn't my full list, but there's a few camps I'm still actively keeping eyes on. :) US21: 009072 097006 011064 012039 106001 112004 139004 152008 US196: 001076 003000 004070 007055 009072 013066 053003 062004 063003 090016 122008 Note: it's been a while since I've checked some of these, and also my notepad is a bit of a mess - so some of the locations/servers may be mixed up (they shouldn't be though). I clean out and destroy the high end weapons (Assault Rifles and up) and rare accessories (Rangefinders, AS50s) as I find them, but you may get lucky with finding some stuff that I overlooked or that they've replaced since I destroyed them.
  7. So nice to see somebody resort to childish name calling, rather than addressing the actual issue at hand (you shitting up my thread, when you've even apologised previously for doing so). Go post your own thread about Timberfox, rather than shitting up my thread about people who played absolutely no role in this video (beyond being a voice in the background). Thanks. :)

    B) Thanks for the Ural yesterday btw!
  9. As I've stated, if you have proof etc - go ahead and post it in your own thread. You apologised way back on the 31st July for shitting up my video thread with unsubstantiated accusations about people who played absolutely no role in this video (beyond being a voice in the background), and all you've done since then, despite apologizing - is continue to shit it up more.
  10. So today I found CQF's Ural again. This is what it had inside it (note, I had the M16, and replaced it with the L85 that was in the truck): http://i122.photobuc.../ARMA/Ural1.jpg http://i122.photobuc.../ARMA/Ural2.jpg http://i122.photobuc.../ARMA/Ural3.jpg http://i122.photobuc.../ARMA/Ural4.jpg And this is what I did to it after I'd finished: http://i122.photobuc.../ARMA/Ural5.jpg
  11. I'm not entirely sure why I am getting a torrent of abuse in this thread (all from one particular individual), considering bar the original post I've only posted once, in response to Tony. Also, the only person in this thread that I've ever actually played DayZ with is Timberfox (and no, no matter what you may believe he really isn't a hacker). Nor am I sure where in this video or post I've whined about hackers, loggers or dupers. I don't really get mad about any of them (if I did, I wouldn't still be playing DayZ). I'll let Rocket, Bohemia and Battleeye deal with all three of those topics. The only comment I made in my video (as far as I recall) was regarding the belief that people can only ever be killed by hackers. You can't play the game with this deepfounded paranoia of 'I killed a guy, I can't take his gun - it might be duped'. Unless an item is blatently duped, it's fair game. Couple of AS50s and an M107 in a single tent? Not altogether unheard of. I even showed in the video what my thoughts are on duping weapons, by destroying the grenades that didn't remove themselves from my inventory when I used them. With regards to the comments regarding my squadmates - I've never seen Timberfox or TomasYsidro (or any other of the guys that I play with) alt-f4 when I've been playing alongside them. Does that mean that they don't do it? I've no idea. I can't watch people 24/7, nor do I have any wish to even if I could. Unless you wish to provide actual evidence of somebody cheating (I mean, if it happens constantly, where's the proof?), your comments are simply baseless accusations. I think we'll all be incredibly happy when Rocket implements anti-logoff mechanics, I for sure can't wait. When you do have evidence to substantiate those comments, please feel free to create your own topic rather than derailing my own thread. TYVM.
  12. Nothing of any value. :)

Hey reidlos - the rest of my fraps finally uploaded, you can find my perspective of what transpired at: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/51534-ambushing-cqf-and-stealing-their-ural/
  14. Hey all, So I've been busy trying to film more DayZ, inbetween filling up my HDD with fraps footage, and my hardware going boom. Finally have all those issues fixed now, and had the chance early last week to film a 2-parter - which I've finally gotten around to uploading. This series came about as a result of a disgruntled CQF Member, who - over the course of a couple of weeks, decided to relay various intel concerning them to me via forum pm. Op timers, Op locations was the main bulk of the information, however as a parting gift prior to him leaving CQF - he shared the locations of their tent encampments, and then stayed online to record their Teamspeak whilst I hit them up. I'll be the first to admit that Part 1 is rather bland, it's non-combative gameplay footage whereby we investigate this intel, and then take what we need from their Tent Encampments, making sure to burn the rest of the high end gear that was left. What Part 1 does do, however - is set the scene nicely for Part 2. Part 2 however, is a whole different kettle of fish. I logged into US196 that evening, and then went back over the tent locations (Part 1 was filmed on US21). I stumbled across their Ural - and took the opportunity to say hello friends. What ensued was somewhat amusing, and I hope that you take the time to watch, and share the events that unfolded. As always, feedback is always welcome, be it here - or on the video comments. Please do 'like' the video and share it around if you enjoyed it. :) Reddit Link: http://www.reddit.co...ling_cqfs_ural/

I'm not going to dispute the rest of your post (the reason will become evident at a later time), however as you'll see from the last 5-7 minutes of my Part 1 Ongoing Operations video (http://www.youtube.c...er/phoenusfilms), a large quantity of military-grade weapons were successfully left on the ground in irretrievable positions around your camp (and we had eyes on the camp until the server restart).
