Hello i finally got the game after hours of downloads, and i have played it for about an hour today. and i have a problem, out of randomness i start walking and i cant run again, and this usually happens when i have been spotted by a zombie. it has happened around 4 times now and its starting to wind me up, can someone help me on this issue please.

If you mean your character starts to walk, and you can't toggle the movement speed to make him run again, then I too fall victim to this bug more often than not.

I find that dropping to the floor, rolling around helps sometimes. If not, try reconnecting to the server.

I've yet to see a definitive resolution for this issue, though.

Thanks for the reply, and yes is really frustrating. seeing as how it keeps causing my death :( Next time i suppose reconnecting asap would be my best choice. thanks

Do you have a weapon when this happens? Typically this happens when someone clicks their RMB to aim down sights when they don't have a weapon, so there's no zoom in, but your character walks because he thinks he's aiming. Try just tapping RMB again, or taking out your flashlight and sorting it out there. If it's an emergency, you can sprint away by double tapping 'w', but you can't crouch so it's best to get your sights figured out.

2 x Shift toggle walk/run

Q/E lean left/right, (you can´t run)...

press q or e 2x.... than all is ok I believe

OR

you are in zoom, press 2x "+"

2x is always toggel this function

no i havent actually found a weapond yet. but i will tried spamming the shift and wx2's and one of them worked, was in the midst of a zombie chase.

Well then, if it happens again, just press the right mouse button and you should be sorted out.

This has gotten me killed at least once, tooken one to many easily avoided hits that came to bite me in the ass later
