Can not join any servers

i downloaded both arma2 games on steam. Ran arma2 then ran AO expansion.

download dayz commander, installed latest patch for arma2 and for dayz mod.

i have tried to join alot of servers and everyone of them always letsme do 1 of 2 things,

1. load in to player list and it says you have been kicked.

2. loads in and says, setup complete please wait, and just gets stuck.

i have looked online and look on forums and dont seem to find anything about it so if someone could help me to fix this so i dont have to have a game i cant play thanks!

There's usually a descriptive message that goes along with getting kicked and without that descriptive message we have no clue what you're on about. Needz moar info.

If you're getting stuck at the loading screen, make sure your Dayz version matches the version the server is running.

this is all it says everything is uptodate.

I get this a lot. I've updated everything, use Steam, and even use the Steam Game cache check to make sure my files are good before running.

This continues to always happen to me and makes the game unplayable.

man i just bought it yesterday and still have not been able to join 1 game i ether get kicked from server or it stops loading aver it says setup complete and the bar always stops with {____} that much left

I see this around, which I tried, but it still doesn't seem to help with the random kicking:

If you are using Steam, your game was automatically updated as part of the Stream update process. It is possible that the update process may have corrupted one or more files. To repair this, do the following.

* Close down steam, and start it as administrator. To do so, find Steam in your start menu, right-click on the shortcut and select Run as Administrator.

* Go to your game library and locate ARMA2. Right-click on the game and select "Properties". Click on the "Local Files" tab. Click on "Verify integrity of game cache". This process may take a bit of time as Steam verifies your game files.

* Once this is done, do the same for ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead.

* Launch ARMA2 and then close/exit the game. This is to ensure that Steam finishes any installation or reconfiguration.

* Launch ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead and close it.

* If you use Six Updater, launch Six Updater and optionally update the mod to the latest version. If you're using other means of launching DayZ, update or launch the mod accordingly.
