AmberHelios 2071 Posted March 9, 2013 for playing dayz in my opinion use dayzcommander from here remember to lauch steam as admin and run both games to the menus before installing dayz
Nuubio 61 Posted March 9, 2013 I recommend Commander even though the mod is attainable through Steam. I haven't tried Six but according to a general opinion Commander is better. Commander not only keeps the mod and ArmA II beta up to date, but you can also download secondary DayZ maps such as Namalsk through it and it keep them updated. I don't think Steam/Six have this feature.

Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) You'll need to find a map in-game, then "M" will bring it up for you. The best place to look is in Supermarkets, but when you're looting supermarkets keep your ears peeled for others, try and stay away from the windows and get in and out quickly. Mos1ey 6301 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) You can use an online map in the Steam in-game browser if you want to find your way around...http://dayzdb.com/mapBut being lost when you're new can be fun too! ^_^ Edited March 11, 2013 by mZLY
