pcakes 0 Posted March 9, 2013 Hi, I'm fairly new to dayz and arma 2, probably like a month or so, but I was playing and then encountered a player driving a truck and shot him, I was then killed by what I now know who is an admin that teleported behind me. (I'm assuming he was not a hacker because he didn't abuse anything like a usual hacker, and i was able to kill him and some other random stuff that occurred). I was just looking and saw several occurrences where people were allowed to keep the item/ the most that happened to most were they were killed for it. I'm just shocked there was no warning etc... hogscraper 328 Posted March 9, 2013 TWS is the thermal scope and it doesn't matter what gun its on. Battleye will not global ban you for having one and the only thing an admin can do is ban you from his private server. If a live player, admin or not, teleports behind you they had to use a hack or are abusing admin powers playing with the database and that server really isn't worth your time anyways. pcakes 0 Posted March 11, 2013 To report a server should i make a new post? and I don't want them to get in trouble I just kind of want somebody to tell them or the admin or whoever that they shouldn't just kill somebody without thinking about how long it took them to get their stuff( If i had known I could have easily just dropped the weapon instead of getting killed for it and all my gear), especially if it was done using admin powers etc, and that they should probably confront the player instead of just shutting them down immediately without any background information. I understand he was mad about me killing him (at least I think it was him) so therefore I don't feel like they deserve a black mark of some sort. Also is there a way I can contact a specific server? You can't blame them for purging the servers of the stuff when it's commonly held and used by scripters.If you can't find it in weapon lists on help sites (i.e. DayZ Wiki), it's illegitimate.
