For all those people who aren't bandits and get mad at bandits for not announcing their presence before they shoot you.

Bandit = killer.

Higwayman = the guy who announces his presence before deciding to shoot you.

I hope this clears things up for you! :)

Go and google the definition of bandit.

"A robber or outlaw belonging to a gang and typically operating in an isolated or lawless area."
