Bad Version

I haven't been able to get on any DayZ servers. IT either comes up with "Bad Version. Server rejected connection" or it just comes up with the something went wrong message. Does anyone else have this problem?

i have this problem on many servers, ive been told to get DayZ commander for this. but im not sure what its suppose to do, just a thought.

I'm assuming you're playing with only the Steam version.

You need to sort the servers by Mission and look for "DAYZ"

Those servers are all part of the official DayZ-hive, but there are not a lot of them.

Like the other guy said, it's highly recommended to get DayZ Commander from http://www.dayzcommander.com

I am not using the steam only version. i have the Arma X: Anniversary edition, but i tried out DayZCommander and it is now working fine.
