Wearing Camo or Ghilie worries

Hey im not quite sure if this problem has been fixed yet but im quite skeptical about it because ive found NVG and a bizon sd and it would be very frustrating if i lost it due to a glitch. If anybody could tell if this problem is fixed or not that would be great!

to be safe put all your gear in your tent/vehicle. then put on suit and wait a few minutes. then try and then log out and back in again. if you end up in the ocean swim back to shore and log out again and back in just to make sure its wasn't a fluke, then run and get your gear again.

Let me tlel you my story. Found ghillie, put it on, drove to kamenka so i could swim back, dopped backpack in wilderness outside of map so it would still be ther when i returned only to have my backpack dissapear, then after im done raging, i log out to start swimming, only to find ouit that i didnt spawn in the water. end of story gg typos im lazy

One glitch for me: seems like ghillie suit attracts zombies somehow. Got aggro a couple of time out of nowhere.

I've seen other users post that the ghillie suit/camo bug only happens if you disconnect within 15 minutes of putting on the outfit. Let me stress that I cannot guarantee this as I have yet to test it personally, but after posting this piece of info on a few other threads over the past weeks I believe it to be true based on the response I've gotten from folks who had the bug and from those who haven't had any issues.

So in short, if you are going to try camo/ghillie, make sure to wait at least 15 minutes before disconnecting from the server.

I can confirm that gillie suit worked for me. put it on yesterday in patch 1.7.1.1 and updated to 1.7.1.4 today. and i did not spawn in the ocean.

I also had the Arma2 OA beta patch, and the server I played on had the latest beta patch running.

I Just put on camo's last night. I have the latest Beta and patch. I run off the Beta. I did not spawn in the ocean/forest. All is good my friend.
