New guy searching for Map download link

HI guys :)

I am trying to find a site or link from which i can download maps for DayZ for at least an hour now...

I heard there are 7-8 maps that are played and that they are about 700-800 mb, but from steam, dayz is only 160. So please can you provide me a link :)

So i first have to fully download ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA for DayZ Commander to detect that i installed those games from Steam? If so, i will have to install maps later :P

I don't use Commander but I think there's an option in there where you can direct Commander to your install so you won't have to change anything. Maybe better to wait for advice from someone that uses it frequently though.

Yes, and after you install them, you have to run ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 OA for DayZ Commander to be able to find their install location.

Just run ArmA II then close it, Run OA then close it... then run Commander and all will be peachy, just go to Install/Update and pick what you want to install and Commander will take care of the rest... also allows u to update the ArmA II beta patch and others... hope this helps... enjoy
