THE_BURNDOWN 27 Posted March 7, 2013 I think it would be cool to be able to lock a car door. Locking it would only be useful if all windows are fixed. To enter a car without being the player that locked, you would have to break a window causing an audible alarm. This would bring some depth to stealing vehicles, and the need of being extra fast.Of course there could be something like directly starting up the engine with a toolbox and so on, but I don't know if that's really necessary. But it could bring some fear to finding someone's car in a forest. Is anyone near? Will the owner know?
ted striker 11 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) Keys to a vehicle isn't such a bad idea...You would need a way to Hotwire a vehicle also... So if there are no keys you would have to have a an electrical kit with you in order to start every time. Edited March 7, 2013 by Bull001

INickeragua 121 Posted March 8, 2013 lol I like the idea of breaking into a vehicle and having keys. It seems a little more realistic then just going to any vehicle you see and it's unlocked ready to go.
Sutinen 635 Posted March 8, 2013 Pointless.. If you can just break the windows and steal the car, what's the point?
ASAP Ferg 0 Posted March 9, 2013 most cars dont have alarms
sol 9 Posted March 9, 2013 I think this is a very good idea, with the addition of car keys. Upon spawning in the game, the car's keys could spawn somewhere nearby, so you have to look around for them - maybe they're in the house nearby, or in the dumpster down the street, or in a crack in the pavement. If you can't find the keys, break the window and you'd better hope you have a toolbox and the knowledge of how to cross the wires and start the engine. Stoned Orangutan 31 Posted March 11, 2013 You don't really need a tool-kit to hot-wire a car. Depends on the car :D also older cars all you need is a flat head screw driver to open the door and ignition. Well a hammer and a flathead screw driver
ted striker 11 Posted March 12, 2013 Pointless.. If you can just break the windows and steal the car, what's the point? Then you wouldn't have to repair the vehicle or need an electrical kit in order to take the car. Read the previous posts.
Torix 10 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) it would be awesome if it spawns zombies aggroing player near car when the alarm is on. Edited March 12, 2013 by Torix
