1.) I found a 16 slot backpack but it seems to only let me hold 12 1 slot items. Is there something I am doing wrong.

2.) is there any way to store a rifle or pistol in a pack

3.) I found a tent so now what

a.) where do I set it up

b.) is it safe from other players raiding it?

if its safe from raiding can I allow allies to access it

c.) can I have mulitple tents accross the map

d.) can I move the tent at a later time

e.) can I store a bike in a tent

4.) Is there a way to get like GPS numbers of where I am standing

5.) If I repair a vehicle and use it, do I keep it when I log out or the server reboots,

or does it go away?

1. Not sure, could one/some of them be multiple slot items?

2. Yep, it takes up 5 slots for a pistol, 10 for a rifle.

3.

a. Somewhere you can find it again, but out of sight.

b. No, everyone who finds it can loot it.

c. Yes, as many as you like.

d. Yes. Do it when the tent is empty.

e. No.

4. You could 'cheat' and use one of the online maps, hover the cursor over your approximate location and you can read the coords.

5. Yes, but don't log out while inside the vehicle, find somewhere to hide it. If somebody finds it they can (and will) steal it.

So if I setup a tent on Offical server 777, can people on offical server 555 see it or only the people on server 777? If I decided to play on official server 444 would my tent and vehicle port with me ?

2. yup, rifles are 10 slots, pistols are 5

a) out of sight, and where you can find it

B) if they can find it they can have the goodies

c) yes

d) yes empty it first

e) no you can't store vechiles

4. if you have a map and one that shows where you are on it look for the grid lines you are in follow it to the top, read those #'s, the to the left and read those #'s and you have your grid reference of GPS location

Ok so I setup my tent and was not thrilled with its location. But I cant get it to pack up, I emptied its contents and made sure I had 3 open slots in my backpack. It is behind a tree not in it, the only thing I can think of is I died after pitching the tent so since the character I am using to try and pick it up is technically not the guy who set it up, could that be an issue ?

Side note where is a good place to find AR mags

That's it, only the character who pitched a tent can move it.

Stanag mags spawn in military locations like control towers, barracks, firestations and hangars.

Just remember if you pitch a tent and die then you can no longer pick up that tent.

You need to have three open slots in your ACTIVE inventory, not your backpack in order to pack up your tent. You can move three items from your active inventory into your backpack to solve that problem.

That's it, only the character who pitched a tent can move it.

Will that change in the stand alone, I would think I would have stumbled accross more tents.

You have an active inventory of 12 slots which allows you to directly access them. Your backpack gives you an additional number of slots to passively store items. To access this, say you found a pile of loot and want to store them in your pack. You would press G while looking at the pile, find your backpack on your list of items and click "Open Bag" on the bottom of the inventory menu. This will then allow you to move items from the pile into the backpack itself.

It's a rather clunky system, and I never found out myself until recently.

Let me clear this up:

1. You need to open the backpack by clicking it in gear, and selecting to open it, Then you can put stuff in. The 12 slots are your inventory.

2. Yes, use the method above. A primary is 10 slots, a secondary is 5

3.

a. Anywhere you want, but I'd recommend some safe place in a forest.

b. it's open to anyone, but only you can pack it on your current life

c. yes!

d. yes, but be sure to empty it first

e. Vehicles can't be put in tents

4. You must find a GPS first. It's rare military loot.

5.It should stay, but it might glitch and break, or just respawn. It should be there for seven days if you don't touch it. Be sure to hide it so other players don't steal it!

Your tents and vehicles are only found on the server you had them on.

One way to find your exact location if you have a map and compass. If you are on a server that doesn't show your location on the map and you don't have a gps do this:

open your map and place a waypoint, (shift-left click), close to where you think you are

exit map and look around until you see the green waypoint

use your compass to see what direction the waypoint is and how far away you are.

open your map and place another waypoint in the opposite direction of what your compass said, so if the first way point was 500m to your west, place another where you think 500m to the east would be.

Repeat this process until you get the numbers you need. Once you learn the map it should only take two or three times to get within 100m

That's basically cheating and isn't enabled on all servers. Most don't tell your location, but some don't allow waypoints either. You'd better learn to use the map in a legitimate way.
