installing problems!

Hello everyone.

I downloaded arma 2 & arma 2: arrowhead to steam and also the day z mod.

I heard that you needed to start arma 2 & arma 2: arrowhead before launching the

dayz mod. So i first started arma 2 and then tried to start arrowhead, but it didn't work.

My guess is i should've started both games before even downloading the dayz mod.

I tried to delete the mod and start arrowhead again, but didn't work out.

Has this happend to someone else that could help me out or know someone who can?

These games took forever for me to download and i don't want to do it again.

And i get a msg that says cant show cd or something..

So please help.

What is it saying when you are trying to start ARMA2:OA?

it tries to start (but seems it cant find the cd key to the game) and then a msg from steam comes up saying that the headserver couldnt connect, i also tried to see the cd key but then the msg came up there aswell.

try starting steam as admin by right clicking on steam and run as administrator and run both games up to the menus

if any error messages come up take a screen shot or write the whole thing down we can help you better
