Kicked from every server?

Recommended Posts

Hey, recently I got a new computer so I had to redownload Arma II and Dayz. Every time I try to join a server using the Play withSIX dayz launcher I am able to get to the screen that shows the list of online players, but when I click on the OK button to join I get the message "You have been kicked from the server." This happens on every server I try to join. Have I recieved a global ban? I know that global bans are from the BattlEye anticheat system but I have never cheated. It doesn't say that I am globally banned when I join either, it only says Ive been kicked. I've tried tons of servers already and every one says the same thing. I also have Arma II and Arma II: Operation Arrowhead through steam if that has anything to do with it. If anybody can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

doesn't it say anything more than "you have been kicked"?

usually there's a difference wether battle-eye kicks you by script or you get kicked by an admin.

If you get kicked as soon as your character creates, you might look if there is red text saying that battle-eye update failed.

I get regularly kicked by many servers until one finally manages to establish the connection to update. But that usually happens after 1 or 2 minutes on the server, not immediately on clicking ok. (except you click the "ok" on the left side, that says "server controls", that kicks on click)

Thanks for the very quick reply. I get the message shortly after the loading screen says "Waiting for character to create". There is no red message on the screen, just the kick message box along with a black screen. I am clicking on the "OK" button which is in the bottom right corner of the screen, the same button I used to use before getting a new computer.

Could be because of a wrong version? Worth to check.

I find using DayZ Commander sorts all my issues as it's much clearer to see what version you are running against what versions the servers are running.Plus you can manually update/reinstall patches when ever you want.
