bad version. connection failed

hey I havent played dayz in a couple months because of school and things. I had some free time yesterday and after i launched dayz commander i updated it and then i updated dayz and the arma beta. every time i try to join a server it just says bad version and i dont know what to do i even have battle eye updated. every sever i try to join i checked to make sure the versions were correct.

If you're using DayZ Commander, go to Settings, click the box that says Replace original Arma2OA files with beta files so steam works. That will update the game 100% and you will be able to play.

IT WORKED thank you.......... now if fell like a complete IDIOT that my solution was just click away

Are you sure the server(s) weren't running on unofficial maps, or even unofficial mods like DayZ+?

Yes i have check the servers are running the standard dayz from what i can tell in their descriptions

i have a filter on the server list so that only servers with the right version and dayz only show in the results
