To fix the bad version it could be a couple of things. You might need to update your Battleye manually or you might need to update your Beta patch. I am not sure about the other error.

also, you might want to go into the main menu of arma2 OA and check your expansions and make sure you have your @dayz enabled along with the particular map you're wanting to play. And make sure to

launch through Dayz Commander.

Run the .exe file in winzip, which you open it in. and then it does it itself.

I can't say for sure, but from the screen shots you posted, it looks like you're trying to launch through steam or get on games through arma2. Open up Dayz Commander, then double click on the top where it says install/update.

Make sure DAYZ Commander is up to date

Make sure ARMA2 Is up to date

And make sure under Mods, that DAYZ is up to date.

If you can post a pic of what it says when you bring up the install/update tab, that would help

Well it seems you have the latest Arma II Patch and DayZ Patch, just make sure you join through commander and only join servers that are running the latest patches, which can be seen under the version column, with Arma patch on top and DayZ patch on bottom. If you try to connect to an older version, it'd be like trying to play a PS3 disc on a PS2.

If you still can't get in, just tell us the specific error, when it happened, and what you were doing. It could be a number of things so we need as many details as possible to help you.

If you want to join a DayZ server you could download DayZ Commander

I know what your problem is with the bad version shit. Go to Settings in DayZ Commander and click: Replace original Arma2OA files with Beta files so steam works.

It will 100% fix you up with the right version and that should fix the bad version thingy. You can also check what version you have by simply entering Arma 2 itself, and it will probably show it in the bottom right corner.
