winchester and 870 damage

some times zombies don't die with a 870 slug shot, but aways die for a winchester shot, every source a found, both do 4500 damage,

(also i always pass out when getin shot by winchester in close range at full life) don't notice with slugs from 870 and 1014

any info? winchester do more damage in fact?or i just crazy?

pistol have the same thing wiht .45 acp, in revolver and m1911 (maybe is something about the barrel?) like in real life...

I've seen this too. I was once rolling with my friend, got corned by like 50 zombies, and by m1014 couldn't 1 hit them. My friends winnie could though.

That's weird, according to the Wiki they both should fire the same round with the same damage... I messed around with the Winchester values and didn't notice anything strange, either.
