Ugh.. Noob here and needs help

I don't know how to update dayz... I cant join any servers, as I only have the 1.62 version and I need the 1.62.10.... version. I also have steam, can anyone help me?

Dayz commander will solve all your issues.

Simply download and run it. It's all very straight forward.

BUT make sure you download it from a trustworthy site.

It says "There was an error launching Arma2 with DayZ. Please check your directories in the setting panel AND be sure that you have the mod installed in the install/update panel. Details: The system can not find the file specified"

Im having trouble also, Im using steam updated to the 1.7.6.1 but when I click to play says:

'Failed to start game (missing executable).'

Uninstall/remove ALL Arma2/OA and dayZ files. Install Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead, run them both and then download and install dayz commander. Everything should be in order and don´t forget to check the versions and updates to them in your commander install/update tab.

I know thats a bitch, I had to do the same myself. It really was worth it, playing without problems since. Hopefully someone knows a faster way to make it work for you...
