Dayz No PvP and No hackers

If you have been killed over and over and over in dayz and are tired of pvp just come and join Team Railgun's No PvP Server. All you have to do is go to google look up Team Railgun and register, then go to the whitelist thread and post your ingame name GUID and all the other stuff it asks. After an admin addes you you can join and many times players with tons of gear will go out of their will to help you if they arn't busy-another thing to note stealing someone's gear or car or heli is punishable by death but if u didn't know it was someone's vecihle you can simply return it. We have about 5-8 regulars and another 5 that get on every so often. Please join as we are looking for new players.

awww dont hate on him bro ... these are the best servers to pvp on ... granted you may only get to kill one time, but find the most kitted person and blow his brains out ... love this!

Its for players just getting started and learning the basics and I got tired of loosing all my gear to bandits who just kill to kill, thats why I joined this server and the people are quite nice. I also wanted pvp allowed here to have some fun but they disagreed, so i'll wait for if they have standalone server.

I think the point being made here is that a strict 'no PvP' server takes away one of the fundamental game mechanics - the fact that you are trying to survive in a world filled with not only zombies, but potentially hostile/selfish other humans.

Removing that potential threat, leaves you with a single threat - zombies.

I was once on the hunt for a pure 'friendly' server but by the time I found one I actually realised this wasn't a very fun way to play.

By all means, discourage PvP or encourage a common-sense approach to the PvP enthusiasts and try to get them to adopt a non KoS policy near the coast or something.

Surely on a no PvP server, if you manage to survive for 30 minutes, then that is it. Challenge over?

I think people who are proud of killing players on non-pvp-servers are the same as people who are proud of killing people using cheats on regular servers.

When a private server introduces rules. Follow the rules or accept that you are the cheater.

No one forces you to play on this server. This is not the only server there is.

If you do not intent to play on non-pvp-servers, it shouldn't matter whether they exist or not. The total amount of servers that allow pvp is the same with or without them.

Edit: I've known people who edited Wolfenstein 3d, not to include ANY enemy, just because they wanted to run around looking at the map without disturbance. That was never intended by the game-makers. It makes no sense at all to 99% of all people. But why in the world shouldn't he be allowed to do so? It doesn't hurt anyone.

pvp is an essential part of the game just as surviving is. Remove that and there's half a game left with no challenge what so ever as zombies are still a joke. Loosing your gear is also a part of DayZ, don't like that then don't play it.

If you didn't know, forums are created for people to express their opinions through a specific topic, which in this state is PVP. They are simply saying how the feel against Non-PVP and that it is frowned upon from a good amount of the community, which you would say is "bitching".

On topic: Non-PVP becomes chaos after a while. Tends to get boring without any real excitement and an adrenaline rush, unless looting and shooting zeds is your excitement.

That's not trolling. That's still expressing their own personal opinion. "Trolling" is a term 12 year olds use when they do anything over the internet that makes people laugh, or themselves. Honestly, I hate the term, it irritates me when it's used in context.

Exactly that. I was on a Non-PVP Server once. It was private(hive) of course, me and the owner of the server were travelling together, I found a DMR... And then it just got boring. Point being, there's no fun in shooting NPC's. You dont get the thrill and blood rushing to your heart when you actually go ahead to kill a person who has a sweet amount of gear, or when you kill bandits and have the good feel of helping someone :) PVP is essential in this game, whether you like it or not.

I finally conviced them and there is still no pvp but we have npc bandits that work in teams of 2-16 or so I have died more and it gives us the thrill of killing.
