Weapon lost

A couple of nights ago I managed to kill a ghillie suited guy who had an L85A2-TWS. I checked around the forums and thought that I'd seen it was available as a legit weapon (crash site). So, I naturally took this as sufficient evidence for me to go skipping off into the night with the little beauty tucked under my arm. Just logged in to find it missing from my inventory... I am sad but I can guess why. So, I just want to confirm. This was removed because the guy I got it from had obtained it by using a script and/or it's entry into the game had been via an illegal script yes? It isn't a bug is it?

I only ask because it was the best thing that had happened to me so far in this game and I thought it was legit... boo hoo, I know you all feel for me right... right?

I'm not whinging but... as a thought, when these things are removed could they be replaced with something? A winchester would have been fantastic! lol

Final point, I can remember the name of the guy who I killed for it but given the easy name changing and no screenshot would I be wasting my breath mentioning a name?
