wicknezz 0 Posted February 28, 2013 Hello dayz Forum :)i wanna start off by saying that i love the dayz game and have been playing since it came out and are looking forward for the dayz standalone, and i also know that i am not the only one looking forward to it. but i wanted to share my idea's that might inprove the game alittle or not :)lockpick'si know there have been some other posts about lockpick's but i wanted to share my verison on how lockpicks might inprove the game, i think lockpicks should be added as a tool in the toolbelt so that you can use it to lock doors in houses and unlock containers/and what not, i know there is gonna be trolls if this gets in the game persons who run around locking every door on the server but i still think i should have a shoot my idea of this is that i will give a new feeling of gameplay so that you can lock down parts of city's for a little group of surviver's or lone wolfs,or you can lock a single house were you can have your stuff stashed.Hammer, a weapon/tooli think a hammer is the most common tool and it would be awesome to be able to run around hitting zombies with a hammer or you can have it in your toolbelt if case you find a piece of wood and some nails so you can put it up infront of a door i dont know if the eng in the dayz standalone could support this but i would be awesome if you could put an extra barricade to keep the zombies/the bandits out of your home.put some wood infront of the windows so you cant look in stuff like that would make the game more reallistikCar shopi do not know why this isnt in the game allready but i think the game needs some carshops a store were you can go find car parts in tons this would be perfect for the standalone seeing how loot only spawn onces so ppl instanly will seek out for the car shops as they would if dayz were realGun containersi know where i come from anyway to be able to have a gun/rifle in the home you need to have a steel container aprroved to hold guns befor it legall to have a weapon in the house so you could add gun containers to random spawn in houses that needed to be picklocked or bashed open by a crowbar were any weapon from a m1911 to a cz550 could be inwell this is something i have been thinking about let me know what you think and sorry for my gramma and bad engish i know it isnt good but i still wanted to share what i had in mind

joe_mcentire 2074 Posted March 1, 2013 (edited) please for the future try to give your thread a more significant name! what's the point of having 12 threads with "my ideas/suggestions". think about how you'd want to sell your newspaper and what would be the headline!second: use tags, this is the reason why someone will post the exact same thing again, because he wasn't able to find your post Edited March 1, 2013 by joe_mcentire

I'm sure you'd find some abandoned car lots etc. in russia still. Am I on point here?
