Yes, it already exists (but it is not bound to a key by default, go into controls and poke about).

what about a spit emote you do a little spitting animation and if you do it in front of a player theyre screens gets a little blob of spit on it.

Why would I need a cry or laugh emote when I have a perfectly good mic with which I can hysterically cry into as I stalk my foes in the dead of night, then as he finally thinks he is safe I laugh like a madman as I shoot him straight in the kneecaps, leaving him for the starving zeds.
