Before i could even bandage my character was coughing and showing signs he was infected. unkillable94 149 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) I'm noticing a lot more of this, I got knocked out by a zombie earlier and when my friend got me up I was coughing, had full heat the whole time just got infected I guess from either bleeding or the act of being hit by the zed. Tek (DayZ) 95 Posted February 27, 2013 I noticed the other day I was hit by a zombie, became infected and started coughing. I started making my way towards a hospital but was a ways out. Before I was even half way there I noticed I was not coughing anymore and didn't seem to be losing any blood. Not sure if I was hacked and fixed, or if it was a glitch, or what the deal was that caused me to be cured. Just that I didn't have to take any antibiotics.
