It would take two dozen moderators to appropriately handle every "I hate dark nights" thread. :)

Yup, it's a persistent problem that hasn't been fixed yet, so people are going to keep making topics about it until it is. Until nighttime is navigable by default, people are going to complain on forums and in game they're just going to stick to daytime servers until they can get NVGs. Been saying that for nearly a month now.

The nights are fucked up - 3/4 of the screen is pitch black the rest is some grey sky. No point in going anywhere as any zombie would easily eat you without you having any chance. Throw a flare? Yeah sure why not tell the whole server your location' date=' drop your weapon and wait to be "rescued"... some people are just morons.[/b']

If you wanna keep it realistic - eyes get used to darkness after a while. Implement that shit before turning off the lights completely and call it "realistic".

I throw flares at night all of the time i have not found it an issue . You can throw them far enough away then move and throw another to light up the area you are interested in. I have lit up the important areas of Cherno, Elektro, Balota , Berezino as well as barns and have not yet been taken out by another player whilst doing so. Just because it is not to your taste does not make others morons my man :)

atm it is very dark, but there are ways to survive in it. Playing in the dark before was like playing in the day anyway..just black and white. You could actually make details out better , especially zeds and other players.

Hopefully they find a happy medium. The dark should be a lot harder to navigate around in.
