The Colt 1911 is a much more used and widely known pistol, therefore i assume they've implemented this in the game.

The TT33 is a Russian spinoff from this model (as of the 1930's) and therefore may be fit for the setting of the game.

To the current day the 1911 (Orignally designed my Mr. Browning, but now used by many different gunmakers) is still being produced and sold as the most popular handgun.

Because of the popularity, my vote goes to the 1911.
