Invalid (DayZ) 6 Posted February 24, 2013 I'm hearing people say that they use this editor thing to do things like finding out why buildings are so laggy and things like that. My question is, where is this editor? I know there's an editor for arma 2, but is there one for dayz too? And if so, how do I get to it? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Death_Dealer 3155 Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) The editor allows you to select different maps and do what you wish with them (Chernarus being one of them). To go to the editor, select "Single Player" at the main menu and then select "Editor" at the bottom. As far as I know, you cannot edit the existing buildings/landscapes on the map, but there is a ton of other things you can do. I can't really go into detail simply because there is quite a bit to explain. Try looking up some basic tutorials on YouTube. The editor is an amazing tool once you know how to use it properly.Edit: I'm not sure if you can use the editor in conjunction with DayZ. There is most likely a way though, I just don't know of it. There is most likely a way though, I just don't know of it.Nothing special about it 'in conjunction with DayZ', the mod just adds loot and zombie spawns to certain building types when actually played.
