StratfordJupiter 0 Posted February 24, 2013 When I saw that the Steam download for DayZ was out, I was excited. I downloaded it and launched DayZ Commander to play it. First server I join gives me this error: "Bad version, server rejected connection". No big, I'll just try another one. After five or six failed tries (same exact results each time), I finally gave up and re-installed Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA with patch 747. I also deleted DayZ from Steam.When Arma 2 and OA were done downloading, I ran them to make sure they started, and then I re-installed DayZ through DayZ Commander. I tried to join a different server that I never joined. "Bad version, server rejected client". Alright, maybe Commander isn't working. I go into OA and try to join a DayZ server through there, same results. Play with 6? Same results. DayZ through Steam? Same results.I have started both Arma 2 and OA before trying to play DayZ. To fix it go into the Install/Update tab in the top right on DayZ Commander and beside Dayz it should say repair, clicking that will fix the problem.
